I got into a terrible accident on Friday Monday. Lenny's Towing is the company the police called to tow my car from the scene. After getting out the hospital six hours after the accident, of course I call the tow yard to see how about getting my belongings out of my car. When I called, they told me the bill was already almost $600 just for towing it that day, and already had a storage fee included. I was told at the scene of the accident I would be able to go there and get my belongings since the battery was died and I couldn't open the truck at the scene of the accident, plus the car was in the middle of the road. What really bothers me, is how a company or companies can take advantage of a life or death situation, just to get the most money out of people. It just don't make sense or seem to be fair to me at all. The car is obviously totalled, but to hold all my personal belongings in my car, until a balance of almost $600 is paid, for an accident that only happened six hours ago, when all I'm going to do is get my belongings, sign the car over to the tow yard, and they gonna scrap it anyway is just ridiculous.

DO NOT USE!! Lenny's Towing is an absolute ripoff. I asked them to ship some sound equipment for me and they destroyed my stuff.

They did not secure my equipment like they promised, causing me to lose my contract. Their insurance only covered $500 for the damages, which didn't even cover the full cost of the equipment I lost.

They blamed the mess up on "equipment failure", meaning that their truck broke down and they had to repack my equipment on the side of the road.

Do not truck a truck shop that has such shoddy equipment that they end up breaking your stuff and costing you more money than they are worth!

Totally failed me, and then told me that I was out of luck when I asked them to make up for it. Referred me to their insurance agent and pretty told me to get lost.

DO NOT RECOMMEND

They are running scams on people. The Delran police use them to tow accidents. When you call to make arrangements to get your vehicle they tell you it needs a release form. Called Delran police and was told it was already released. This back and forth caused the vehicle to stay another night and they got to charge another day storage. Called Lenny's to question about the release. They said they have it but it wasn't signed but we will release it. They had the release the entire 2 days. Do yourself a favor. Don't go near this place.

These guys are a scam. They have a loose agreement with our HOA but they tow vehicles without authorization or cause.
