The staff is friendly. I recommend sitting at the bar. While located in an interesting part of the town (next to an adult entertainment store), and parking is limited, it is worth a try. Know that the parking is in the back of the restaurant and it is usually not full. I am a repeat customer. It is all you can eat or you can opt for the ala carte. Be sure to call ahead for the hours as they are closed between lunch and dinner. The sushi is made fresh as you order it. It's not like other all you can eat sushi where it has been sitting out for who knows how long. I wouldn't say it's the best sushi you will ever have, but it is good. For two people the price is about $40-$50. When looking for the restaurant, look for the city park. It is essentially right next to the park. You could miss the restaurant as it is not a very big place.
I love sushi and Ooka has one of the best around here. My wife and I love to go there for special ocasions or just to have a very fresh sushi lunch. We have had sushi Carmel that was wonderful and Ooka has the quality fresh sushi we enjoy. Other sushi bars have disappointed us in freshness and quality but at Ooka we have not been disappointed. We are going there tonight for my wife's birthday. Yummy for our tummy!
The service was great, the sushi was amazing, and the price was right. I go about 2 or 3 times a month to get sushi and have been to almost all of the all-you-can-eat sushi places in the inland empire and this place is the best all-you-can-eat sushi place, and has the best prices.
