I just moved to the area and needed to find a new pool supply store. I have always been a Lesley's customer. I took my water sample to Academy Pool supply and they tested it with their computer tester. The gentleman helping me was very knowledgeable about pool stuff and explained how to properly check the Chlorine and PH levels. Since my husband usually tests the pool, I appreciated that he told me the proper way to test. He told me what chemicals I needed and how much to use. He also asked me other questions about how long the pump was running and told me the proper length of time to run the pump in the summer vs. the winter. I was on my way quickly. They have great customer service and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely go back for all my pool supplies.
I have a ~50 year old pool that was in pretty rough shape. It probably hadn't been re-plastered in 20 years and had a cracked skimmer that was causing water leakage in my pool. Got several estimates, but ended up getting a great deal (~20% less than other estimates) from Manny. They fixed the skimmer, demoed the old plaster, and re-plastered over three days. The pool looks brand new! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to re-haul their pool.
this is a review of Dave Blodgett. as a coping and tile contractor of over 30+ years and having tiled more than 9,000+ Pools, I've crossed paths with many contarctors. Some good and some not so good. I can tell you personally, that Dave Blodgett is one of the Good old school kind of contractors. Honest and hard working. You won't go wrong hiring Dave for your pool project. Give him a call, tell him Frank at Little Tile Inc. recommended him!!
