After a home invasion back in 2010... I began to visit this indoor range as I had no prior knowledge on gun handling. My first time here I brought my friend with me who is LAPD and they were happy to have us join their range for target practice. The instructors have always been very helpful whenever I had any questions not only on the handling of a weapon but also on the type of weapons and ammo best suited for home protection. Since then I've become a frequent visitor and have always been welcomed with a smile when I walk in through the door. The targets are priced reasonable and so is the ammo. I've began to bring my own stuff now so not sure how much pricing has changed but it wont break the bank that's for sure. It gets crowded over the weekend so I usually visit during the weekdays. I've never had to wait for a lane to open so either way if you're a weekend warrior you'll be fine.
Went to Magnum to get my wife some lessons. Liked that they had two really knowledgeable instructors there. One of the instructors is a female named Barbara and she really knows how to teach. My wife was thrilled with her instruction. The female instructor made a marksman of my wife who never shot a gun before and was scared to even try. Now I can't get her to quit. The other guy named Bill is the guy that taught me and he was awesome. Very knowledgeable and friendly, both of them. The two and a half hour lesson went by really quick. They provide the gun and the ammo in the price of the lesson which is $80 for couples or $90 if you go solo, and it's well worth it. I highly recommend this range and their instructors. It's a one stop shop!
