The Met Apartments

I could not be more pleased with my choice to select the Met as my new home. I am so thouroghly impressed with the beautiful landscaping, the apartment upgrades, and the quite neighborhood. I owe many thanks to Sheryl for working with us so much. She is the most sincere, loving, and kind hearted person i have ever met. We had all odds working against us to get into this place and with her dedication to working magic and making dreams come true we got the keys to our new place. She is a perfect example the EXCELLENT customer service and kind natured people is not a thing of the past. I give this place 5 stars, i dont ever want to move :) It exceeds all wants and needs

Just moved in and I couldn't be happier! The apartment is so nice as well as all the neighbors! The manager is such a friendly, kind-hearted, helpful person as well as her family. I feel safe here which is most important when it comes to your home. A great place to live!!!

You got to be kidding me with all the new fake reviews! How convient that so many "good" reviews were giving around the same time. I agree with the first two reviews. Before those good reviews The Met had a 2 star rating. I've had so many issues with this place and I am done. The staff is rude and nosey. The maintenance staff don't give a crap about personal property. I'll let you figure that out for yourself if you decide to move here. After I moved in the manager seemed super friendly and eager to rent me an apartment but after that she was always bitchy faced and when I came to her to discuss and issue with the apartment she looked at me as if why am I wasting her time. I had an issue with maintenance and when she talked to that person, I saw them laughing it off and nothing good came out of the situation. I guess after seeing the bad ratings she decided to turn her attitude around. This place caters to college students so the manager and security turn their backs on any issues you have with them, for example overnight noisy visitors and loud parties. She says it's within their rights. We know our right too and this is complete BS! Talking about BS, there's a lot of dog crap everywhere even around the car ports. Maintenance walked right by it and left it alone. You would think that I was being untruthful or revengeful but I am being honest and want to warn anyone that's interested in living here as I wish someone should have done for me. I believe that If they hired a new and stricter manager that complied with its tenants then this place would be packed. If you don't believe me then why are there always so many apartments available and I'm not talking about the summer when college students move away. Please take the extra mile and do a little more research in apartment hunting. Good luck everyone.

I have been a resident here for the past 16 years, Since the new owners and management company staff took over about three year, this property has never been better. The environment is safe, the apartment community looks great and is kept up! In addition I am always seeing the property upgrading. We just got a playground, they have wood flooring and even granite counter top. I have been here a long time now and considered relocating a few years ago. Since the new ownership and staff I have no intention on relocating. My family and I love it here.

The MET is a great place to live! The units are upgraded with modern features- granite, nice floors, new paint and very clean. The grounds are also well maintained and it has great bbqs all around the complex. Management is friendly and quick to help when needed. It is by far the nicest complex in the area. I always feel completely safe and I would not live anywhere else.

I've lived at The Met for over 2 years. It's well run, clean and the people that live here are very friendly. Cheryl the manager is polite and helps the tenants when she can. This is truly a great place to live.

This is a great apartment complex. It's been newly remodeled and all the apartments have been upgraded with granite countertops and vinyl wood floors. The manager keeps the property clean and orderly. A great place to live.

I've lived here since may of 2012. Haven't had any problems. The place is kept clean and the manager takes care of my issues right away. This a nicely renovated complex. Best place in the neighborhood.

My wife and I and our 2 boys have been here at The Met for about 8 months now and we are very happy renters. I work right up the street so we looked for an apartment in this location for about 2 months. Obviously this UCR area isn't the nicest area in riverside but, from our searching we found The Met to be a comfortable living place that our 2 boys call home. First off We have been able to save money not having to pay anything for our first month here, plus our apartment is updated and really nice compared to most apartments we saw in thissurrounding area. I don't understand others judge of character sometimes??? Sheryl our property manager and her family has been so nice to us. in the winter it was cold and she made sure that's handfull of apartments got brand new windows. There has been couple of times that we havnt been able to pay our rent on time and she is always kind and understanding. As far as maintenance goes we have had to deal with plummbing twice. Never fun but the first time the plummeted were there the very next morning and just this last time they came and fixed everything that same day. Also Juan our maintenance guy is a really nice guy and knows what he is doing. The property is always clean and quiet. We havnt had our car breakin into or have had any trouble in these apartments. We have a huge front yard and I will play outside with my 4yr old and his little friends until 9:30at night. We feel safe and comfortable here at The met.

I love living at these apartments. The apartment grounds are always clean and the manager there is always nice. I since then have recommended this place to a friend and they now live here as well. The apartments are pet friendly and the office is always open, even on Saturdays. I am very happy to live here and recommend these apartments to everyone.

The structure of the apt is nice; however, the management is HORRIBLE. I couldn't agree more with collegeliving after reading his/her review! The property manager, Sheryl, is disrespectful, rude, lazy (she's 85% not at her office during the time the office is supposed to be available), and so FAKE (most of the time when she sees me on site, she always give me this f**k-off face look, but when she is with her client showing them the apartment, she would come up to me and greets me so friendly...gross!). One thing I want to mention again is that she's using her office hours to do her personal things. She and her family live on the property as well, and just a couple days ago I saw her with her husband/partner(?) sitting and chatting in the pool area and her kids are playing in the pool. Seriously? She was supposed to be in her OFFICE right now! and MANY MANY MANY times as I walked by the front gate, where my friends would come and pick me, I always see her chatting and smoking in front of her apartment and not being available for the customers in the office. And the rest of the time that she's not chatting in front of her apt (or even BE in her apt), she's 80% not in the office (she always leaves a sign on the office door saying she will be back at certain time, but she NEVER comes back on time...sometimes she just TOOK OFF for the day). In addition, the laundry room problem was true too, it was NEVER opened on time on weekends (wtf...srsly). Moreover, there's something in my unit that didn't work when I moved in, and they never come and fix it. Sheryl "expects you to accommodate to their needs instead of the other way around (by collegeliving)." SO TRUE! I personally think this apartment could do so much better job if they change the property manager!!!! Otherwise, I don't think the apartment deserves even one star!! I would rate it with zero star if I could!

The management is terrible here. The laundry room is suppose to be open at 8:00 a.m. every day, but on the weekends it is never open on time. We've also had issues with our apartment that never get fixed. Stay away from this place!
