As a raspado lover I was pretty hyped about this place opening, unfortunetly I was expecting more especially for the price. I bought quite a few things one of them being the "frutsie" raspados which has fruits, chile and chamoy in them. I was expecting it to taste lemony, or sour just like a "diablito" raspado but it was really sweet, so sweet I had to throw it away. I also bought "tostilocos" and I also was expecting more for my buck, were $5.50 for a little tray and there were bearly any cucumbers in them. I gave this place 3 stars because the milk based raspado was good and that would be the only thing I would return for.
I really like this place.. I use to go to Los Angeles in order to get a Yummy Raspado... but Im so happy they made a Raspado shop just down the street from where I live =) My husband and I go at least once a week. The "Crema de Guayaba" is my favorite, and my husbands favorite is "Diablito de Mango" which is a spicy Raspado. The staff is very friendly and the place is always nice and clean. I would defiantly recommend this place!
Probably one of my more favorite food memories from Riverside. The italian ice is on point but the true star of the show is the custard. Delicious beyond delicious. I could eat a tub of that stuff everyday. Also for the italian ice part they have a wide array of flavors that can be mixed and matched to get flavors like cactus cooler or fruity pebbles.
