Of course you will love your new puppy. But adopt, don't shop. This store and many others have a dark side. They support puppy mills and puppy breeding. These dogs are bred under horrible conditions and further the problem of overpopulating dog shelters, when you could have just adopted a puppy from a rescue like FOSTER DOGS NYC or In Our hands Rescue, or many others for half the price. They also have puppies if you want to start new with a family member. These dogs are sold as commodities and it's a sad cycle that you are funding when you buy from a pet store who sells dogs from breeders when they could be working with shelters or rescues to stop thousands of dogs being killed daily.

I want to thank you for your professional and kind service in helping me pick out my new pet,normally I would adopt,but since losing my 2 other pets,I wanted to raise a baby,you and your staff were very kind with your words of comfort as I told you my story,your puppy room was wonderful,I love the little private bench area,where you can sit and play with the dogs,I was there for 2 hours,your staff was knowledgeable about the different breeds,and did not mind all the questions,but in the end the puppy pick me,I named him Cosmo,your prices were fair,you helped with everything food,toys,everything I needed to take care of the new baby,you asked if I had it all,I felt like you wanted to make sure he went to a good home,I will be back to buy food and more toys,I feel as if I have made friends,oh btw your fish room is outstanding!

Bob's Tropical is one of the best petshops I have visited. The puppies were all cute and healthy and the employees were very helpful. I've been a faithful customer for 5 years and I strongly recommend anyone looking for a pet to check this store out.
