Having my wedding dress custom made by Couture by LK Design was one of my best wedding planning decisions.My experience with Lilya (owner/designer) is amazing she is professional and talented.The selection of fabrics and laces in the store is gorgeous.
I initially thought having a custom gown made would be out of my budget, I was wrong!
You set your price (of course this is guided by what you want),you help pick fabric,lace and everything is included. There was no extra fees for alterations since the gown is made for you
You get as many fittings as needed to make it perfect up until your big day. I really can't put into words how strongly I RECOMMEND Couture by LK Design. My dress was stunning.
After searching several stores for a wedding dress, a friend of mine suggested that I meet with Lilya at Couture by LK Design to talk about having a dress made. That turned out to be the single best piece of wedding advice I received! I brought her a few pictures of styles I liked and she immediately had great ideas. Lilya`s taste is impeccable, her attention to detail is amazing, and her construction skills are flawless. Plus, working with Lilya is so much fun! I loved going to her beautiful store for fittings and being part of the process of creating my wedding dress. I can't recommend Couture by LK Design highly enough. I ended up with a wedding dress that was not only stunning and perfectly constructed, but that also completely suited my personality
I remember a store I went to by in 1985 named Courture Fabrics (I think) and if this is the same people with just a slightly different name, they are a wonderful store. I had my wedding dress made using fabric I bought from their store. I absolutely love the fabric selections they had and it's the kind of fabrics you definitely want against your skin. Although I did not have a wedding gown (as much as I would have loved to), my wedding dress is a dress I can wear anywhere and the fabric is still just as nice as the first day I bought it.

Provided by SuperpagesLiliya is a top-rate designer and her work is impeccable and creative. She can create virtually any apparel for you that fits YOU perfectly and flatters you in the best way. The fabrics in the store are gorgeous. This designer and shop is Richmond's little secret, I think. I'm so glad I found her before my son's wedding and also a trip overseas. She designs elegant formal wear as well as suits (whether with pants or skirts), etc. Also superb alterations. Fabulous!
This is a wonderful place to go for alterations. Very professional service and top quality; I trust them with expensive and special items and everything comes out looking professionally tailored. I love them.
