I love American Laser Skincare Center. It has changed so much. Apparently, they are under new management and it shows! They were extremely professional from my initial consultation to giving me the services that I requested. I loved the fact, that they were honest about the services and what I should expect from each service according to my individual body type/ needs. I would strongly suggest that anyone who has ever wondered about laser hair removal or other cosmetic facial and body services, make an appointment and experience professionalism for themselves.

All laser tattoo removal devices are not the same. The tattoo is a foreign particle in the form of ink. The tattoo artist places the ink in the dermis or the under layer of skin. Because the ink has the ability to absorb light, it is important for the laser to be of high quality and calibrated. High quality lasers prevent thermal buildup in the ink. Such heating can cause blisters and burns on the skin and can lead to permanent injury especially for darker complexions. Lasers need calibration and if the maintenance is neglected, the laser can cause burns when removing the tattoo. Beware of the half price treatments advertised on internet specials. Ear Piercing
Laser lipolysis begins by having a very dilute solution of saline and local anesthetic gently in infused in the fatty area to be melted and removed. This process is painless. Once the liquid diffuses on the problem fat, the laser fiber of the Smartlipo is placed into the numbed fatty area and the laser melts the fat. At this point the thin suction is placed into the small opening that was about the size of a ear piercing and the liquid fat is gently aspirated. The final skin tightening involves simply putting the fiber back into the area and heating the under skin. This serves the purpose of coagulating and stimulating the dermis to become more plump.
