I took my boat in for minor service when the technician discovered that I had a serious engine problem, after a few diagnostic tests it was determined that the exhaust valve in the #1 cylinder was defective and that there was no compression on the cylinder. I could just remember feeling almost sick to my stomach as the boat only has 56 hours on the motor. What happened next is what you really need to know about as a perspective customer. The service manager went to bat for me, keep in mind that my boat was no longer under warranty and all he was really obligated to do was right the order and collect the money. He instead went to the owner and together they fought for me to no avail with Mercruiser; Nautical Marine wound up covering the cost of the repairs as they could see that the damage was not due to abuse or neglect on my part. I just bought a 2001 Mercedes E320 at this dealer. It was my first experience purchasing a vehicle from a small dealer. Being a single woman, I was a little nervous. Well, I was pleasantly surprised!! The sales manager was very helpful and said to enjoy a 20 minute or so test drive. (Another place I went was 10 minutes no exceptions). I had a concern about the ABS light coming on and he promptly said he would have it checked and to my surprise he had it checked and repaired quickly. We were able to reach a deal after some gentle negotiation and I got a great deal that I am very happy with. When I went to pick up the car, he even had a new inspection sticker put on for me.
