Jade House Chinese Restaurant

Normally we love this place but recently the service has gotten more rude and the food has gone down hill. Our last visit was the worst. A lot of the items we ate tasted freezer burnt and in an ad they had ran it said kids eat free 7 days a week with purchase of an adult buffet and drink, so my husband and I got the buffet and drink and was under the impression that our 5 year-old and 3 year-old would eat for free... not only did they get charged for their meals, the owners wife (I believe) came up to us and asked us, after we ran our credit card and the amount (total was $30.15 and that is what I wrote down to be charged), why we didn't tip her. Are you serious?!? My husband didn't get a refill on his pop and they denied us our kids discount... and then got rude when we asked about the discount the lady got very rude. So yeah, no tip! We were so appalled with their actions and behavior that we left immediately. So sad to see this place go down so badly. We have been going for years and normally they are very nice but lately it has gotten worse and more rude!

Jade House is amazing! I love their buffet, especially the corn nuggets! They are the best part of the buffet! Well, that and the honey chicken! Yum! We go there and eat the buffet every time! We love being able to get our own ice cream and having the oranges they always have out! General Tso's chicken is usually not too spicy, and the sweet and sour sauce is great! I recommend Jade House to everyone in Richmond looking for Chinese food!
