Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church

On March 10 2016 Rev. Alvin Bernstein disrespected my family during the Home Going Service of my mother (who was a member) by stereotyping a cousin with the words "we all have one in the family" 2nd, he stated in the service " don't smoke weed nor leave any empty alcohol bottles in my parking lot"... I still can't understand what made him say these things & behave in such a manner at the service for my 64 year old mother. He also disrespected my brother during the service as well as after the service. Rev Bernstein cursed him out after the service inside of the church. This behavior is not & was not acceptable. I can't believe we were treated in such a manner. This is only the beginning of something that he has started, he has been revealed!! I was told God doesn't lead His children blindly, by no sight unseen. So thank you Rev Bernstein for allowing my family/friends to see you for whom & what you really are. I'm in disbelief of his actions.

Sadly, I attended a funeral at this church on March 10, 2016. The Pastor of this church was rude to the family, made ugly disrespectful comments to the family, in addition, he cursed a family member in the CHURCH right after the service. The only reason the family did not CHECK his during the service was to be respectful of God and the loving honor of the person whose funeral it was. I will NEVER step foot in this church because of his heartless actions and I will be reporting him to the BISHOP of his church.

Been a Memeber of this church for over 15 years it has been a pivotal church in the community, a warm family congregation, and is definitely headed in a positive direction in it's appeal to the youth recently. God Lives!!!
