I had taken my son to the walk in urgent care in Republic for an ingrown toenail & they originally prescribed him antibiotic capsules instead of liquid. He's 8 so he can't swallow pills. I called the clinic back that night & requested they call in a liquid form. The next day when I got off work I called Walgreens to make sure they had it & they didn't, called the doctor back & they said they did call it in so I called Walgreens back again & told them that. While I was talking to her I said well maybe they called in into walmart by mistake & she put me on hold & called over there & found out it wasn't there either. She said she would call the doctor for me & get it resolved so I gave her the number. Apparently this doctor moves between offices on different days so she actually tracked him down & got the information for his medicine. She went way out of her way to correct a mistake that wasn't even hers. This blew me away!! Thank you
First of all I would like to say the review by "Dnb M." looks as if it was written with bias. From my personally experience Family Pharmacy in Republic has always had very short wait times and the entire staff has always been extremely kind and helpful. One of the pharmacists, Matt, has even gone out of his way numerous times to talk to me in detail about concerns I've had with possible side effects of my prescriptions and just about my health in general. My grandmother can't help but smile as soon as she walks into the building because of how well they treat her. I would recommend this pharmacy to anyone.
This is the BEST pharmacy I've ever gone to. The staff is professional, knowable, and most important: friendly. I'm grateful to have them in Republic!
