I'm Chinese and particular in the ingredients used in these authenticate dishes. They use quality ingredients - meaning not a lot of onions & celery as filler but the real goodies - like fungus wood ears, pickled mustard greens, and many other delectible chinese greens. This restaurant (& the one north on Lake City Wy) is as good as it gets! Cuisine is mostly from mid-northern provinces and they have a pretty good selection of Northern Dim-Sum on weekends (seldom found in Seattle, but you need to order from the Chinese menu).
Decided to give them a try and ordered via delivery a few nights ago, 2 Large entrees of orange chicken, large pork fried rice, 3 egg rolls, large regular rice, and barbecued pork came to 26.00 with the grand opening discount. Really happy with pricing! Everything was really delicious. WAY better food quality than Stir in the valley. Delivery was pretty quick except they don't have gps so we had to talk them in, and the food was lukewarm, but a few minutes in the oven made everything perfect! Would order again.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in the Seattle area. My favorites there are the pot stickers, hot & sour soup, kung pao anything, black pepper chicken, orange beef and mongolian beef. Getting hungry just thinking about it.
