Silver City Brake & Alignment and More

We have taken my sons Subaru to Silver city break and alignment twice now. I have to say Scott is the best mechanic I have ever met. He takes the time to explain to us what the problem is. When he repairs the vehicle ,It never exceeds what it should be. The first time we took it there , he repaired the clutch. We haven't had any problems with it. I have never done one of these reviews. I really feel this business deserves five stars. Scott is an honest great mechanic and I would highly recommend this shop. When we take our car there we feel it's in good hands. Scott knows what he's talking about.

Scott was an excellent mechanic & the prices were reasonable. Carole kept us updated on the progress of our car. We were from out of town & used Yelp to find a reliable mechanic. Amazing performance, service and they stand by their work. Carol the office manager is reliable on keeping accurate records. Gil the shop manager runs the shop perfectly. All of his techs are awesome and trustworthy. I was so impressed how they serviced my car within a few hours. Did not charge me for replacing the spark plugs which was not part of the service requested. truly Sliver City Brake and Alignment is the auto shop to get your car fixed and back on the road.

After just moving to Reno I needed my brakes redone and the rotors resurfaced. I pulled into Silver City on Kietzke. It wasn't much to look at but I found out rather quickly that they knew what they were doing unlike the fancy brake places near where I live. After checking the brakes they told me what needed doing and gave me a fair price for the work. I waited a little over an hour while they did the work. They did offer to take me somewhere if I didn't want to wait.

Have been doing business with Carol at Silver City since the early 1990's and totally trust this shop to do anything I need done. Very honest and friendly shop.

I have been dealing with Mike for over 30 years. He has always been honest, never tried to sell me something I didn't need and the one time I had a problem, fixed promptly without making excuses and didn't charge. Excellent business !!!
