How we got here: 65 years ago my father, Bob Gilbert, recognized the complications and frustrations associated with obtaining insurance and set out to minimize them. He saw an opportunity to bring honesty and reliability into a field where it seemed to be lacking. After years of working with Blue Cross Blue Shield in San Francisco and Provident Mutual in Reno, my father had the expertise needed to begin Employer Benefits Inc. Built around trust and my father’s passion for superior insurance, EBI quickly rose above the competition by providing their clients with a thorough understanding of their policies. My father would never let a client walk out the door unless he was confident they had the right insurance plan and the knowledge to use it. My father’s dedication and love for insurance sparked my interest and in 1981, I gladly joined the EBI team. Following my father’s example, I built trusting relationships with my clients by making certain that they truly understood their insurance. It is a passion of mine to educate and I treat every client on an individual basis to ensure they obtain the best possible plan for their unique situation. It is EBI’s mission to help you eliminate any potential problems that could arise with your insurance. We are here to answer questions, provide recommendations and make sure you are confident with your insurance. Not understanding your insurance can make for a financial disaster and we are dedicated to helping you avoid such catastrophes. With our central location, our personable office building and our devoted staff, we foster a welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable to visit us with any questions or concerns.
