FutureCare Cherrywood

When i came to the facility for the first time there was this really nice young lady who escorted me form the reception area all the way to my friends room upstairs. My review may be somewhat biased based on my first impression but that's all it takes sometimes. When i came the other day they had some entertainer playing music and it was packed with residents. If it wasn't free i might have paid a few bucks to watch it was so good.

Living here these past 2 years has been a very good and nurturing experience for me. I participate in Bingo regularly, and love it. The residents are very friendly and the staff is absolutely beautiful, and so accommodating as well. I would recommend anyone who needs this type of care to look into Future Care at Cherrywood. Not only is the food good, but this is one of the cleanest and most well kept facilities that I've ever seen.

I'm happy at FutureCare Cherrywood and wouldn't change anything. Everything here is good and is meeting my needs.

I really like living here at the Cherrywood facility, and I've been here for a while. The staff is very good at what they do and they've been making improvements since I first arrived. I go to almost all of the activities and I think bingo is the most fun. I also honestly really enjoy the food selection. All the other residents are very friendly and my roommate and I have gotten quite close. I would recommend anyone looking to come here, because you could do a hell of a lot worse than here.

I have been here for about a year and a half, and will be released soon. The staff here has been helping me heal and they've done a fine job. THey offer bingo to the residents which is one of my favorite activities and the food isn't bad considering my soft diet restrictions. Generally, the folks here, whether it be the staff or residents, are very friendly and make it a pleasant environment.

I am the Resident Council President at the FC Cherrywood location, so if there is a problem, residents bring it to me, and I take it through the correct channels to try and solve the problem. For me, this has been very rewarding. I've learned how easy it is to get assistance from the staff here and I really enjoy hosting the bake sales and being able to donate to the Cancer Society. I've never been at another facility, but the past 4 years I've spent here have been extremely beneficial to my health and well being. The nurses and staff are helpful when needed and I would certainly recommend this location to my own friends. It's comfortable here because everyone is so friendly.

I don't remember exactly how long I've been here, but it's definitely been a while and I can say that compared to the other, similar facilities that I've been too, this one is much much better. The activities are great, and I personally love the food. They offer a lot of options and they listen when you suggest other choices. Also the staff is very accommodating to my needs. I would highly recommend other people in need of this type of care, stay here at FutureCare Cherrywood.

I have been here three years now and the friends I've made have made it a good experience. I also think the quality of administrators is amazing, particularly thanks to David, Susan, Paulette and Kathy. They are very caring and keep the facility running.

Can't speak highly enough of this facility. I have a very close friend who switched to this facility from another local nursing center (which was horrible) and the difference between the two homes is night and day. The Service, staff etc is all wonderful. I love that everyone at cherrywood makes me feel like family it's very special. thank you.

Nice facility. Staff cares a lot for the residents. New renovations have kept it up to date and modern. Building is always clean.

As a new employee of FutureCare Cherrywood, it is apparent that the staff are compassionate about their jobs. They are truly caring for their residents, family members and co-workers. The facility is beautiful and easy to navigate. The staff are very professional and pay special attention to detail to provide the best care possible

I've worked at FutureCare for over 3 years, and I can honestly say I love my job. We have a lot of great employees at Cherrywood. We work together as a team to make sure the patients and residents are number one priority. Healthcare is one of the toughest fields to work in, but is by far the most rewarding. I am grateful to work at a great building.

I've been to MANY long-term care facilities and I can say that FutureCare Cherrywood definitely ranks #1. The building is always clean, very rarely is an odor detected and the staff are very friendly. I will always use FutureCare for my rehab and LTC needs.

I have worked at FutureCare Cherrywood for over 16 years and wish to add an additional 5-star rating category for "dedication and compassion of the Cherrywood staff." Time after time I have personally witnessed staff from all departments ( Rehab, Nursing, Social Work, Dietary, Pulmonary, Medical, Activities, Maintenance, Environmental Services, Administration, etc) go above and beyond to help meet the needs of our residents and their families! I have seen this on both the short term and long term units. I know how dedicated the Cherrywood staff has been in caring for their residents thoroughly and compassionately during stressful times , eg..dealing with past water main breaks or blizzards, as well as generating joyful and festive atmospheres around many holiday and in house celebratory activities! People have many choices for employment, and you will find many FC Cherrywood staff who have worked there for years. Families also have choices, and frequently comment positively about our caring, team approach to their loved one's care. Should I have the need, I would not hesitate to bring my parents to FC Cherrywood. They welcome the patient and the family , and truly care about providing individualized care.

If I could give this place a few more stars I would. Thanks for changing the way I personally look at nursing centers. Continue to impress and take care of our aging population.

switching our family member from an assisted living to long term care was one of the hardest choices ever. Marla in admissions made this the best transition ever and we can't say enough about the entire squad. The employees are trained to impress. Thank you cherrywood.

We have spent time visiting some old time friends from our neighborhood over the past few years. The decor of the place and demeanor of staff has us convinced this is the Gold standard. We hope to only be here to visit, but wouldn't think twice about recommending this great place.

I like this place a lot. It has nice people and the building always looks good. I once had a flat tire here and the employees came and helped me get back on the road.

My sister and I come to this facility a lot to visit people on behalf of our Church. We’ve been doing this for years and it is one of the best feelings one can have. If you have not thought about giving back to the elderly or sick this would be a great time to jump on board. We visit multiple facilities but this one has always stood out form the rest. When you walk in you would be hard pressed to know that you are in a Nursing Home unless you knew fore sure where you walked into. It is always clean and void of smells. The food smells like a restaurant and I have thought many times about asking them if I could buy a meal. The residents are always busy with some activity and everyone is friendly. I wish everyone was as friendly when I went into a store to buy something. They always thank us for coming. I love coming on Fridays when they have some sort of music entertainment. It’s like a concert. Everyone seems to enjoy immensely.
