Deb up in ICU, thank you so much for making sure our mom was comfortable and cared for. You made her laugh and even make a few jokes herself. Thanks again for the arrangements for my sleeping head quarters while I stayed with mom.

In May, Dr. Wenninger sent Birdy to Wound Care for treatment of skin ulcers related to vasculitis. The ulcers weren’t responding to the prescribed antibiotic. After meeting with Birdy, Lindy Fabry, RN, Director of Med Surg at RAMC spent four hours researching treatment options and found that patients with vasculitis need the inflamation treated before the wound can heal. Together with Dermatology, they came up with a wound care plan.
