Sam Taliaferro is a personal trainer, certified in 2009 to professionally train clients in the Bay Area. Sam works with clients out of Powerhouse Gym, Redwood City branch, to achieve realistic goals within a workable time frame, preparing them mentally for the road ahead as they embark on their journey towards fitness stability and excellence.

Clients are trained in three specific areas: aerobic and anaerobic workouts, sport specific workouts, and stretching. During these phases, clients are encouraged to maintain the workout plan provided by Sam, and follow-ups are performed during the week to ensure that the client is well taken care of outside of the gym.

Sam realizes that what is accomplished in the gym is intended to be, more than anything, a spark that should motivate the client to work as hard as possible outside his walls to achieve a healthy life.
