Milagros has a fun atmosphere, especially in the summer when it is hot. The patio seating is enjoyable for drinking their excellent margaritas while people watching. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I did not notice them being slow and I've been there on several occaisions...but when I am there, I am usually catching up with friends, etc so maybe I am not paying attention! The food is good and made with fresh ingredients. There are several types of dishes to choose from: fish & seafood, pork, beef, chicken and vegetarian. They easily accomodate vegans if you request no dairy on the vegetarian dishes. The portions are not gigantic, but a normal meal size, which I like. Their margaritas are the best. They are made with fresh fruit juice, not a mixer. It's a great place to walk to if you live close by, especially if you want to stroll over to the Century theater after for a movie.

I have never had a bad meal here! Everything I have tried is so good. I highly recommend the mahi mahi tacos or the chicken mole enchiladas. Their drinks are super good too! I would definitely recommend reservations for the weekends, it can get really crowded and the wait can be quite long. The only downside to this restaurant is the service. Expect super slow service when you go. Last time I went they brought us our meals before the appetizer but they quickly appologized and did not charge us for the appetizer. I heard the service is slow even if they are not busy, so if you have the patience definitely check this place out for the food, it's worth the wait!

One of the better (and only) decent outdoor spots in Redwood City. Milagros has a very large open patio (large soft sofas out sometimes) with a decent selection on the menu of Mexican and Tex-Mex staples. Service has been consistently bad on the 7-8 times I've been so far. I think they're just understaffed, but if you can overlook the service and enjoy the great patio and food, it's a fantastic lunch or dinner spot any day of the week. If choosing the patio for your dining the restaurant is on a busy street corner with a fair amount of auto traffic going by so keep that in mind.

I've been here twice now and have been disappointed both times. Food is over priced and not very authentic. The restaurant does however have great margaritas, good ambience and a great patio. Good place for drinks and maybe appetizers. This place would be awesome if only they'd work on their food.

I love the energy of this restaurant! They have great Margaritas and a wild fun atmosphere. It is also a great place to bring your kids, as kids eat free on Sundays. They have a really good happy hour and excellent staff!

We really want to like this place. It has all the makings of a hip restaurant. The food really is good, so no complaints there. The problem is the service - slowest in town. We have dined here multiple times and we'll say one thing...they are consistent...consistently slow. However, the margaritas are EXCELLENT! So if you go, just be prepared for a leisurely dining experience.
