Citrone Restaurant in Redlands, California; provided a wonderful dining experience both in the ambiance of the restaurant itself, the food that was served and the service provided by the wait staff. The main dining room is absolutely gorgeous with the exposed old brick walls and large famed prints of wine labels that are hung around the room. The food was great and decently priced for a small establishment such as Citrone. I highly recommend the Penne Beef & Peppers entre, the pasta and filet mignon were cooked perfectly, the white wine marinara sauce was the perfect balance of spices and sweetness, and all the vegetables that accompany the pasta and beef were perfect. The lists of deserts available were small but all sounded delicious. If you like chocolate the Death by Chocolate Cake is definitely for you. The wait staff was polite, attentive and very professional. The prices at Citrone are a middle of the road to a little high for the more expensive items but well worth it. Overall if you are looking for a great restaurant for a nice evening out Citrone will make your night out even better.
The Pesto Pizza is amazing. The portion sizes are huge. The prices can a bit high, but you get a lot of food for your money. I notice that the biggest complaint about them is customer service.... I have never had a problem unless they were really busy. They burnt my pizza once, but the owner came out and apologized and bought me and my friends a round of beers. That was fine with me! You order your food and drinks at the counter and bar. It's not table service, even thought they bring the food to your table when it's made. I live outside their delivery area, which I'm kind of glad for, because I would eat their pizza every day if I lived closer.
My son & I went the other night, and did the all you can eat sushi deal. It was great! Because of health issues I have to be careful what sushi I eat, but the sushi chef was very careful and made me some "custom rolls". The service was good, it was quiet because it was during the week. We definately got our monies worth and more! I will be going back when I need another "sushi fix".. Great sushi!
