This review is regarding my latest AR-15 I purchased through Greco's Fire Arms Sales in California!
I sat down a spoke directly with Rick, the owner! I told him what I wanted and needed. Rick has many years of experience building AR rifles so Rick's experiences regarding upgrades was priceless. Rick gave me his opinion then I made the final decisions. As soon as the Bad Ass Burris rifle showed up, I drove to the shop to fill out the papers and then waited my ten days before taking ownership! After sighting in the gun at the gun range, I couldn't be more satisfied! The rifle is much better than I ever imagined I couldn't be happier! I definitely would recommend you check out Greco's Fire Arms Sales to anyone wanting a quality firearm with custom features and quality service for affordable prices! I can't say enough good about my new rifle, it shoots perfect at 100 meters and my groups were tight and consistent! Also, Burris has an awesome warranty no questions asked, Rick stands by his craftsmanship as well, so it's an excellent company with great quality!

Stopped in and talked to Rick after searching the internet for Redding gun dealers. Read the current customer reviews online and felt confident this was the place to go. I was RIGHT!!! After talking to Rick about a handgun purchase. He lead me to a Ruger LC9. He said it would be a gun my wife and I would both enjoy. It is clear Rick is concerned with his customer's satisfaction and isn't afraid to spend some time talking about what you want and might need. Kudo's Rick. My next gun(s) purchase will be from Greco's.

If you need ANYTHING related to guns, ammo or reloading contact Rick at " Grecos Fire Arms Sales". Rick is amazing, I was looking for a pistol for my ccw class, I could not find one anywhere. I called Grecos and Rick found me my pistol in two days. When I picked up my gun I gave Rick my "wish list". I needed 1000 rounds of brass, 1000 primers and 8 lbs. of powder. When I handed Rick my list I laughed and said"Good Luck." With in two weeks Rick had my brass and primers, he is still looking for my powder, and I know he will find me some soon. In this day and time it is hard to find guns, ammo etc., but Rick has really come through for me!! Rick will promise you nothing, he just delivers.

I recently bought a rifle from Rick. Most of the time when you buy product from merchants things go as planned and the transaction is not very notable. They just go as they should. Sometimes though, as in this case, things go awry (NOT AT ALL RICK'S FAULT IN THIS CASE!), and you learn more about the person/company you are dealing WITH by how they handle the unexpected.



The shipping company pulled a fast one on Rick and re-shipped my rifle rendering the tracking # Rick sent me useless. I notified Rick of this and he told me exactly what he was going to do, when he was going to do it and when he would communicate the results to me.



I have GOT to say, I've been told COUNTLESS times by company reps that they would call me back, email me with updates at a certain time or on a certain date. More times than not this time/date comes and goes with no update. A broken promise and a necessary effort to contact them again on my part.



In the case of Rick and Greco Fire Arms Sales the most AMAZING thing happened. Rick did EXACTLY what he said he would and he did it EXACTLY when he said he would! I was MOST impressed with Rick throughout the transaction, but the way he dealt with an issue that arose due to somebody else's mistake REALLY impressed me.



I would NOT hesitate for a second to do business with Greco's Fire Arms Sales in the future. In fact, I will make an effort to do so even though we are quite the distance from each other because I know they understand what customer service means and they sell the highest quality products!

I chose to go to Greco's based on the reviews on this site. I first googled firearm sales in the Redding area and came across the standard Big 5, Jones Fort, Bastiani Arms, Olde West etc. etc. etc. but also came across Greco's Firearms Sales - I had never heard of this one so I clicked on the link and it took me to these reviews. The people who made the comments mentioned that it was just a one man shop but were happy with the service, so I went down there about a month later and met Rick. He was very personable and told me in general he could save a few bucks on a particular firearm purchase (obviously because of his low overhead). I told him I was a month out from a purchase and wasn't sure what I wanted yet, and he said no problem, go to his competitors, handle a variety of guns and get prices and that he could order the identical piece and would most likely be cheaper. So that's what I did... I only saved $20 from the next lowest competitior, but It was enouph to buy an 18 pack with so I am happy. But mostly, I was happy with his personal service compared to his competitor (that was slightly rude after I handled 10-12 weapons and didn't purchase any). Rick even agreed to meet me on a Saturday while he was closed because that was when the 10 day period expired for me. There are probably not any big name competitors that are coming in on their closed hours to give this personal service! Very happy with the service and will be purchasing all future firearms through Rick until one of us dies!!!

Rick of Grecos is the best. I was trying to obtain 2 different firearms to complete my collection for now. After every gun shop in the redding area, and being told that I would have to give deposit and go on a waiting list for 6-8 months or more, I finally found rick at Greco. I told him what I wanted and he said he would call me back in an hour. 45 min. later he called me back and found 1 in Texas, and 1 back east I believe,so he advised me that if I wanted them we should get on it as each supplier only had 1.Anyway I now have what I wanted thanks to Rick, and I must say that he is the nicest,most honest, staight-up professional person you could ask for to deal with. By accident I found Rick Greco and Greco Firearms sales and it has turned out to be the best experience I have ever had in purchasing a firearm. Rick is very personable and takes the time to make sure that you understand every aspect form a simple gun transfer to building a custom rifle. I have had Rick handle a gun transfer for me and the process was simple, well explained, and I felt very comfortable with the entire transaction.



The next experience was having Rick build a custom AR-15 for me and let me just say that gun is sweet, in fact it is now my favorite weapon in the arsenal. All through the build process Rick took the time to make sure I understood the build, components, and made many recommendations that really improved the outcome of the weapon.



Lastly I would say this, when you go to some of the dealers in town they treat you like they are too busy for you, don't need your business, and that you know nothing about guns. How refreshing I found it when I met Rick and he made sure to spend the time I needed to understand my transactions, showed me every aspect of the weapon, and made absolutely sure I was happy with my purchase. Rick's prices are reasonable and his customer service is absolutely the best, a very hard thing to find these days but alive and well at Greco Firearm Sales. I highly recommend this business and Rick Greco for your next transaction or purchase.

Rick exceeded my expectations when purchasing my Calif. legal, Stag Arms AR--15 . Rick answered all my questions & concerns & is very knowledgeable in the firearms industry . He did not try to push me into a firearm I did not want , yet gave me advice on what I should steer clear of . Also the one on one service in a non-chaotic , hectic environment made my purchase that much easier .

I had fun buying my gun from Rick. He helped me select it from several alternatives and to customize it to get a gun not possible from the standard gun shops in town. We sat at a desk and discussed what the possibilities were to meet my needs and then put together the pieces. He kept me informed through the process of waiting and when the gun came in I was very satisfied with the results. It was a very pleasant experience with Rick - and I did not have to wait to get up to a counter and talk to some counter jockey who was busy helping other customers while trying to take care of me. It's really very easy to give Rick Greco five stars. Why is that? Well the answer may surprise you ...... Rick actually CARES about his customers. I've been shooting/hunting for about 35 years and Rick is BY FAR the easiest "gun guy" I've ever worked with. As other posters have mentioned, he's patient, thorough and very knowledgeable about all aspects of gun ownership. And, he charges at least 15 percent less than the local gun stores. In a nutshell, Rick is the kind of guy you'd like to have as your neighbor -- Honest, trustworthy and fair.

Absolutely the easiest firearm purchase i have ever made. I was introduced to Rick thru a friend when i was looking for a concealed carry weapon. I told Rick what i was looking for and he made some great recommendations based on his years of firearm experience and allowed me to make an informed purchase. I couldnt be happier with the handgun i chose. Since then i had Rick build me the ultimate AR-15 just the way i wanted it and then some. Everyone drools when i break it out at the range. The easy-no-hassle-take-your-time atmosphere made me feel right at home and not pressured at all, something i DID NOT feel at ANY local gun shop. In addition, Rick beat the price offered by all local gun shops by a mile, which in my opinion, when combined with all the positive attributes stated above, makes the perfect place to get all my gun supplies. My gun buying experience at Greco's Firearms was great. My wife and I set out to find a handgun for her that she felt comfortable with but after quite a few unsatisfactory experiences at most other local gun shops we ended up at Greco's. First I have to mention they are not a typical gun shop, they are a non-stocking dealer, a unique kinda firearm broker you might say. The owner (Rick) has a huge resource of wholesalers to buy from and he'll get you the firearms you want, but without a doubt the relaxing one on one customer service was by far the deal maker. My wife and I both felt at total ease and comfortable, we were encouraged to ask questions and not rushed or made to feel stupid like at other gun shops. Prices were lower than anywhere else in town that we checked and our handgun arrived within 48hrs. We felt so comfortable there that I also purchased a custom assembled AR15 just the way I wanted it. I'm glad my wife and I stumbled across this dealer as I don't think we'll being going anywhere else from now on. We couldn't have been happier with the whole experience.
