A-1 Loan Pawn Shop

In need of cash to pay bills. They paid me a fair price and ate very friendly and helpful.

These folks at a-1 loan have helped myself and my family for 3 generations now. They are always very nice and pleasant to deal with. Thank you guys for being there for the common folks. also I would like to comment on what ARIELLE T wrote on 6-13-2015, the only one RUDE here is YOU, maybe you have never been in a spot where you needed money to buy food or pay a bill, and that would be nice, but for you to attack a business that provides a service, to help the less fortunate, a lot of which have jobs and work hard, times are hard in this economy on families and the FINE FOLKS at A-1 LOAN PAWNSHOP are here to help and have been helping people for 35 years. Thank God for people that truly care about others, and you, ARIELLE T should say a prayer and thank God that your not in a bad spot and be a bit more thankful to those who help those who need it...

Rude, unfriendly staff. Especially the older guys. Very know-it-all. Instantly judgemental, in an unprofessional, generalized way. Yes, it IS a pawnshop, so we all know they offer ripoff prices. However, we tested the shop to see just how well they'd adhere to standard business ethics policies. We had several people go to A1 Loan with the same item. Let's just say they were all dressed and/or notably very DIVERSE. And each received a diverse and mostly negative experience. 3/5 received different offers on the same item. 1/5 was denied altogether. All over the course of 24 hours. No way to blame changing markets, supply and demand, etc. And the difference was pretty steep. Definitely a discouraging discovery. When asking for some information regarding some display items, received barely any attention. Definitely gave a "just buy this or leave" feeling. A broken bicycle left oil spray on a tester, ZERO effort to assume any responsibility from the establishment. Although this genre of business is definitely prone to dealing with thieves, I do not believe that they have to assume every person or young adult that walks through their doors are thieves. Many of us are looking for temporary relief from each of our unique, unfortunate financial crisis'. We all grew up knowing that pawnshops are the very last resort, for our precious belongings, which were paid for with hard earned money. And when a pawnshop offers a single penny on that dollar, versus pennies, knowing the person has nowhere else to turn, and basing the offer on that fact alone, It is my duty to point out to the public that this store, in many ways, is robbing our community of the ethical treatment and/or payment we deserve. On the upside, Sometimes they have a decent selection for certain items.

i was just kidding you guys are great . i was not serious. your the best in redding know that. and i know your hours i also wouldnt go any where else i just did that cuz you need some good with the bad hahaha.i had to use diff name cuz yellow pages lets you review only once.they really do suck.

i was wondering why dont you list your open hours. i was going to go there and was wondering what your hours were and they wernt listed. so i went somewhere else cuz there hours were listed and i knew what to expect.and how early i could go there.i even called your phone hoping to hear bissness hours but no massage machine.
