Christman Kate DVM
"My dog was attacked by a purebred American Pit Bull Terrier going on 6.5 years ago and I was frantic at the time as I did not have the kind of money to have him treated. I took him in to Dr. Christman's office anyway because I love my dog, and she put him on IV right away (which no doubt saved his life) and began the process of discussing what my options were. They would not treat him extensively until I had made a very large deposit, but financial aspect aside, Dr. Christman was very patient with me and also very honest, making it clear he may not survive, but she would do what she could to help him. He was very ill and needed home treatment for a week, which she walked me through. The only reason this clinic isn't getting 5 stars from me is I did not particularly like the Vet's Assistant, who I had to deal with as well (I'm not even sure if she works there anymore, anyway). She was snobby and condescending and when I said i would like to go through with the surgery recommended to save his life, regardless of cost, she looked at me like I was a cretan. To her it seemed easier just to put him down. The surgery was successful, and my dog is alive today, happy and healthy as ever because of Dr. Christman. "
