Hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to noon Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- Emergency Department offers emergent and urgent care services for injuries and illnesses, such as cuts, sprains and minor respiratory ailments. It deals with injuries caused from motor vehicle accidents, falls and serious lacerations, as well as emergency events, such as chest pain and shortness of breath. The department s acute care unit offers medical, surgical, gynecologic and pediatric emergency services. Emergency Department is a part of The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, which is a nonprofit health care center that provides acute care, post-acute rehabilitation, behavioral, and occupational health services. Founded in 1867, it is accredited by The Joint Commission .With more than 600 physicians, the center practices in over 50 clinical areas, such as dietary counseling, radiology, and nutrition, laboratory and behavioral health services. The Reading Hospital and Medical Center also offers services that include respiratory, physical and occupational therapies, as well as inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, and drug and alcohol detoxification.
