ABC Dance Supplies

Always very helpful at ABC Dance Supplies, spends time fitting my daughters for shoes. We buy all our shoes here for a proper fit.

I have been going to ABC Dance Supplies for years simply because it is the closest dance store to my house. They have a decent selection of dance supplies and their prices seem to be in line with the other dance stores in this area. However, despite its convenient location to me, I will no longer be shopping/spending my money there. I have gone there several times within the hours they have listed on their website only to find it was closed, which is very frustrating. This week, I was there w/ my toddler and my teen daughter who was looking for pointe shoes.The woman working, whom I believe is the owner, was rude to us. My toddler, who also takes dance class, took a tap shoe off the display to look at it and I was immediately scolded by the woman for letting her touch the shoes. This is not the 1st time we have not felt welcome here, but this was for me, the last straw. I put the bodysuit that I had planned on purchasing for my toddler back on the rack. I thanked the woman for helping my daughter try to find pointe shoes that fit (they didn't have any that my daughter liked) and started to leave. The woman asked if there was anything else I needed and I said no. She said I saw you had a bodysuit in your hand. I informed her that I had put it back on the rack. I got the impression that she didn't believe that I had however. I left the store with a very sour taste in my mouth. I went to another dance store on Kutztown Road, where we got everything we needed and the customer service was great! Don't go here w/ small children even if they dance as it is not a child friendly store. Visit one of the other dance stores in the area, where I'm sure you will get much better service!

Went to get a dance uniform here, and the owner was extremely helpful and kind, had a great experience, would shop there plenty of times

ABC Dance Supplies has a large inventory and always seems to have my sizes in stock. I can get all my supplies with one stop and don't have to run all over for different items. I have been buying my supplies for myself and my daughters for over 20 years.

The merchandise is ok, but they charge you nearly the double amount of postage, than it actually costs.



I asked them why an they told me because of the packing. The packing you can get for free in any post office. Then they told me: " If you were to come to one of our stores and buy and item, it would simply involve paying at the counter." Very funny, I'm from TX and the store is in PA. I won't do business with them again.
