I needed to get my tire repaired and after three calls I found Catonsville Car Care Center. I agree with Sarah that the waiting area is not too flashy, but it's comfortable enough. The mechanics were friendly and had an air of trustworthiness, like bringing the car home for dad to work on. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. If I have any other car issues I will take my car there, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a repair. I suspect there might be more of a wait next time, but these guys are worth it. I ended up tipping them because the price seemed very decent and because they took care of me so quickly.

I absolutely love this bookstore. They specialize in used and rare books but also have a bunch of other ecclectic stuff. You can pretty much walk around the place for an hour just looking at all of the stuff they have and the decor. The place isn't in the best of conditions, but then again, it's a used book store.

This should be number one on your must-do list if you're visiting Chicago for the first time. Wendella does great architectural boat tours for an affordable price. I went on one recently that lasted about an hour, and the view alone is worth the price. The tour guide did a fantastic job of relaying history and anecdotes.

This is an okay place to get cosmetics and bath accessories. They have pretty much what drugs stores would have in terms of cosmetics, but also some things that you would only find at a salon as well. The prices are a bit on the steep side, though, so watch your wallet.

This is such a great place to have a meal with friends at odd hours. Golden Nugget is open 24 hours a day, which makes it the perfect place to go to at 3am. Their prices are very affordable, and portions are more than enough. It may not look like much from the outside, but this place is great and gets lots of foot traffic.

What a wonderful place to spend a nice, relaxing day. I came here a while back and got the full treatment: haircut, massage, manicure, and pedicure. The people at Imagine Salon are very professional and did a great job. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back here again. Give Imagine a try!

You don't know the San Gabriel Valley until you've been to a Sanrio Surprises store. It's the stationary and toy store that every kid wants to go to, and you'll bring her there until it makes you blue in the face. Like Morning Glory, everything is pretty expensive here, but you're paying for the atmosphere.
