I found this restaurant in the Entertainment Book. It's a gem. It doesn't look that good on the outside and the decor isn't the greatest. But give it a try. First time customers., we were greeted by 2 employees the minute we walked in. Courteous, excellent, friendly service. Generous portions. The food is excellent, home style cuisine. I had the Swiss mushroom chicken and they were absolutely smothered in cheese and mushrooms. Prices are very reasonable and you take home enough for the next day's dinner. One thing I was really impressed with is they accommodated my food allergies by making comparable substitutions. I definitely recommend.
I have been coming to this establishment for about a year. The staff is friendly and my coffee is hardly ever empty. It is very casual dining. The best special I believe they have is two eggs, two sausage or bacon, hash browns, and biscuts and gravy for under four bucks. It gives you the feel of a classic diner being surrounded by classic era memorabilia. The only bad side is the parking is some what limited.
We have been going to Sammy's every since it opened always for breakfast we knew moat of the first workers from Carrows and we just followed them to Sammys
