        Overall

        Catered Dungeness Crab was horrible

        Spent good money on a catered event last Saturday and the crab was so salty we could not eat it.

        What a fantastic place! My daughter's Prom group of 9 went there and had a great time! The service was great, automatically asked who's date was who's and Brooke out their bills, they were not charged for their drinks and dinner for two was only $40. They had a great time, good food and great price!

        Not impressed.

        Seems like they overbook their reservations. We made one and arrived early. We were told they had our table ready then they changed their mind and said it would be a couple minutes. It then took more than 30 minutes past our reservation time to get seated. They were very disorganized and we heard other parties complaining also that others were getting seated before them. Some of those apparently didn't even have reservations and got seated before those that did. To me that's unprofessional.

        Great Place & Great Food!!

        Rudy's has been one of my favorite places for years! I never leave hungry and I usually have a doggy bag in hand. Their clam chowder is absolutely THE BEST in town. Creamy with chunks of potatoes, bacon and clams.....mmmm.....with warm sourdough bread... you cant beat it!!! My husband loves the Prime Rib but I go for the lobster. All their dinners come with three courses, although I think you can order smaller portions from a "small plates" menu but why would you!! The pasta that comes with all the meals is very old school and reminds me of something my Italian grandmother used to make on holidays.



        Their lunches are great too! our office has gone there a couple of times and I have to say the crab melte ROCKED.



        Love Rudys! Dont listen to what anyone else says!!
