Dr. K has taken exquisite care of both our dogs. We just had our lab spayed, surgery was done with a laser with absolutely no bleeding, no visible stitches, and two days later she is completely back to normal. Dr. K always takes the time to answer all questions, and Mary Anne and his staff are so caring! We are so happy to have found Dr. K 15 years ago!

After making an honest review of this "Dr." he filed an incident report with police and had an officer show up to my door. Funny how now all these reviews are suddenly being posted about how anyone with a negative experience here is a crazy person. I wonder who is writing these reviews.

I took my cat to this vet a few weeks ago and was told that my cat was obese and Kavanagh diagnosed him with an "Intermittent Gallop" heartbeat (a sign of significant heart disease.) Dr. Kavanagh spent a total of two minutes with me and my cat and was extremely rude for those two minutes, wrote me a referral to get an echo cardiogram (expensive heart x-ray) and basically made me feel like it was my fault because my cat was so disgustingly "obese." I decided to get a second opinion only to find that this vet (who listened to my cat's heartbeat for about five minutes with a stopwatch) found no murmur. I even paid an extra $140 to get an EKG to be safe and the EKG also came back with no abnormalities. Thanks for making me feel like a horrible pet owner and diagnosing my cat with a serious condition that he does not have.

I have lived in Ramsey my entire life and taken every pet I have ever owned to Dr K over 30 years. He and his wife Mariann are wonderful and compassionate. They understand how much our pets mean to us and have always taken care of my dogs like they were their own and recommended the treatment that was best for the dog. I have called them in the middle of the night and they have answered and seen me right away. I am confident and have peace of mind when I have to leave them there because I know that they are in the best hands. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I've been taken my animals here for a very long time. Mary Ann is amazing and always makes sure that I'm okay and my animals are too. Dr K always has the best interest at heart for all the animals and their owners. He is the kindest Vet ive ever met. The service here is just amazing beyond words. There's no where else I would rather go than here. Best hospital hands down.

i have been coming to this hospital for years. my cats were 2 strays that we got from our neighbors and they were really sick. i wasn't sure if they were going to make it. Dr.K immediately admitted them to the hospital and saved their lives. not only was he on top of everything he called me multiple times during the day to update me and mary ann even consoled me. if it wasn't for Dr.K's compassion my cats would not be alive today. they are completely healthy and i have them to thank. they are simply wonderful!

just recently adopted a dog from a rescue, and Dr.K explained to me about all the shots needed for him and even explained that my dog needed a dental. even when my dog got sick and had diarrhea Dr. K and Mary Ann answered all my questions. ive been to plenty of vets over the years but this practice by far is the best hands down! Will recommend this practice to any and everyone. thank you so much for the quality care you provide for my animal.

Dr. Kavanagh has been caring for my pets for over 20 years. He is kind and empathetic not only to the dogs but also to us as their owners. He has seen us through Canine cancer, ortho injuries and general veterinary care. I can't imagine taking my dogs to anyone else. The office is immaculate and the staff is personable and caring. They follow-up and call to check in to see how everyone is doing. If you care for your pets, this is a wonderful vet!
