My husband and I had dinner at Orchid with our 2 yr old this evening. We were graciously welcomed into a clean comfortable dining room with pleasant music and waited on like King, Queen and Prince! My husband and I shared delicious green tea and Nigori sake while our son drank water brought in a special cup by the waiter. We then proceeded to share a delectable meal together from the "buffet" menu = 24.95 each for my husband and I (our son was free bc under 3yrs). I write "buffet" bc as others have noted the menu is really "all you can eat" brought to your table as opposed to true "buffet". We were given a button to push whenever we needed service and our table was stocked with paper menus and pencil to order at want. Our dinner: miso soup (which my son drank straight from the bowl and could not get enough so we ordered more for him!), seaweed salad (straightforward and fresh), pork dumplings with sweet/sour sauce (big hit), chicken udon (not greasy but full of flavor), and sushi. The sushi was fresh and delicious! My husband and I are sushi fanatics but it was our son's first sushi experience; and we all loved it! We had the dragon roll, tuna roll, rainbow roll, spicy girl roll, spicy tuna roll, and a crab/avocado roll with masago. Everything was made perfectly! Our waiter explained that their concept is to mimic Chinatown (such as in NYC or SanFran) where small portions of multiple entrees are brought out in succession - which I liken to tapas -Asian style. Although it is better than tapas or Chinatown bc you only pay one price no matter how much you order! If you want to only order a few apps/rolls/entrees then you can pick and choose from an individually priced menu. So really there is an option for every budget. We will be frequenting this restaurant and wish it all the success it deserves!
Quick fast affordable Indian food. Love their lunch buffet now. You can try so many dishes for a fraction of the price you would pay at some other Indian restaurants. I like that you can do the pick 1, 2 or 3 options. Naan comes at the table , soft and buttery. They have 3 meat options, 3 vege options, 1 appetizer, rice and naan for $8.95. Plus dessert and all the chutneys and free iced tea. Server told me that they are under new management so try yourself. Will go back again for sure whenever I need some fast Indian food
Rum Runner's is a dueling piano bar. They have the BEST piano players and they could play every song i wanted to hear! One guy even played Metallica on a piano. It's a great sing-along, clap-along, time. The service was great and the waitresses were hot! They even have a dance club in the back that is open on the weekends. You HAVE to check it out!
