Method Child Development Center

What are they thinking? Our child goes here. When we reviewed the DHHS complaint we confirm they are accurate. A google review made us aware of the violation. We have to visit several times a week to make sure our child is being fed properly. Children who have special dietary requirements always wonder if they are being followed. They daycare think it is okay to put meat and vegetables on the same plate when feeding little one who does not eat meat. They don't feed him the meat but there is a reason they are not supposed to be together. We were upset to learn about the door being open. Our child is walking. This is not being run the same way as when we signed up. Daycare has gone down hill in such a short time. They will tell you it is okay to visit but then tell you your visits upset your child. What is being hidden?

If I was you I would not enroll your child(ren) here. This used to be such a great daycare until the new director took over. She spews lies to parents, is incredibly aloof and inconsistent and tries to make up her own rules that violate sanitation rules, as well as state and federal regulations. She has caused chaos at a previous reputable daycare she managed and it took months for them to recover from her wrath. When she came to Method she hired another work from her previous daycare who is just down right mean and nasty to parents and children. Saw her on a few occasions shoveling food into kids mouth without letting them finish what was in their mouth. She lets the babies go 3-4 hours without diaper changes and 4+ hours without food.



This site was recently visited by DHHS and they received numerous violations. The back door to the facility was left open (in the baby room) A baby went 4+ hours without being fed. Check out the NC DHHS website for more info on violations all CONFIRMED. This place is poorly managed and if you have your child in this place I would suggest asking them what goes on there (and why not ask them what kind of food they serve) they've been caught serving non nutritious meals as well (again all confirmed on DHHS website)



FYI the previous poster is on the board and doesn't have children currently enrolled in the program. It's just so they can boost their ratings.



Take a ride down to DHHS and view there files on the new director and the daycare she worked out before it's off of Clifton Street in Raleigh! Stay Informed!!!!! Method was so worried about loosing their rating and getting a 5 start so they made all these changes and now have to jump through a bunch of hoops just to keep the 4 stars they had GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!!!!!! There are other options in Raleigh with comparable prices and better care for your little ones.

My kids have loved Method. They run into the place happily. It makes it easy to drop them off in the morning because they want to be there. Plus, I don't worry about them during the day and can focus on my work. I also love the education they have received in other languages and cultures. The summer program totally rocks!
