Since that day, the company offered other mobility equipment such as custom wheelchairs, power chairs, stair lifts, porch lifts, beds, standers, ramps, vehicle lifts, and patient lifts. Madhavi Manduru-Rao, a pharmacist, is president of Advanced Seating and Mobility. In 2008, Advanced Seating and Mobility was certified by ACHC as a quality healthcare provider. In March 2009, we moved into a brand new 8000 sq. ft. facility to better serve our clients. We have a team of certified, dedicated rehab professionals with experience in providing mobility solutions for a range of clients - from young children to older adults. Our philosophy is simple, we fit the equipment to the client, NOT fit the client to the equipment. We also give back to our NC community by sponsoring programs such as Bridge II Sports, a non-profit that encourages sports among wheelchair users. We participate in most major insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and the Veterans Administration, and will coordinate insurance billing.         Goood explanation

        I had to get an electric scooter for my mother after she broke her hip. I couldn't understand why we had to go with such an expensive scooter until the staff showed me why they recommended a custom item. They were very helpful assessing her condition and with explaning my insurance E.O.B. to tell me what parts my insurance covered and did not cover.
