I had priced out a 20'x12' deck with a 6' wide by full length overhang and Level was the best price. Shortly after contacting them I received a very thorough listing of supplies to be used, full specs on the job and a complete artists rendering of the finished product. I met with the owner and went over the placement on the house and some other very specific items about the deck. The house is built on a slope and the bottom of the deck is six feet off the ground but nothing was said to change the price and we agreed on a start date. The builders came on the date and started work, but had to hold for a day or so to wait for a Chatham County inspector to approve the construction already completed. The lead builder asked several questions during the construction about the final grade where the steps met the ground and whether I wanted a railing against the brick foundation. There was another delay due to difficulty finding the correct siding and shingles, but they came out on a Saturday to finish the roofing because of a predicted storm. Once the work was done, my wife came out with me and was stunned by the excellent workmanship and the extras that were considered normal by Level, such as 2x6 railing covering the outside deck railing, the endcapping of all the flooring and the extra supports between the bottom of the pickets and the top of the flooring. We paid half after the first inspection and fully expected the remainder to be increased because of the extra material due to the height of the deck and the problems caused by the slope, but the invoice was the same as agreed from the start. Even the final home inspector was stunned by the quality and price of the job!
I am a mother of four and I am happy with them! They are my life! They are all what I have in my life, so I do as possible to give them the best and all I can! Then, when I knew about this chance to hire these guys and get a tree house for my babies, I immediately told my husband about it, we organized the budget and we called them to check the best place to have the tree house, because I needed it close to my house, where I can be taking care of them. So, these guys arrived and started to work very hard, they built special places for my sons to not get hurt and the stairs were protected too. When these nice guys where working, my sons approached them and started asking questions like: what’s that? Why you are doing that? Why are you in my house? Why you have that uniform?...and some other questions, where the staff had fun and made the job easier and funnier. So, after some time, they finally finished and my family and I could see the result of hard work; my sons ran and started to play! They love it and we love our sons having good time together. Then, we really think that this company is helping the society to remember the importance that the word family has. They are helping us to make us better people! Everybody should have a play structure in their yard!
Dayan / Borges Construction Co was recommended to us by our Realtor for a condo renovation project (turned one bedroom into two, added plumbing fixtures to a powder room, tiled the foyer and powder room and repaired existing tile in the kitchen + several small repairs that were needed. We have worked with several construction companies and handy men over the years, and no one else has come close to the quality we experienced working with Dayan and his crew. From the beginning Dayan set expectations and was very detailed with the estimate. He was also very responsive by phone, text or email. Dayan was very patient as changes were made along the way. They did a great job at a fair price. We then had Dayan's company handle a few minor projects in our home. Once again we couldn't have been more pleased. We will always call Dayan for any future projects. He can handle anything!
