Fenno House

Assisted living not worth the money. Cigarette smoke in all hallways. Dog poop often appears on walkways. Outsourced management company staff with combative attitude. Would you place your mother here?

My mother has lived at the assisted living at Fenno House for over two years. When she first moved there from living alone she was not well. After living there a short time, she really came back to life! The staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful and go way beyound the call of duty in doing their jobs. My mother calls them 'angels'. She adores them!



The food is excellent and they take very seriously the suggestions of the residents. The activities program is filled with exciting offerings and my mother enjoys many events. She doesn't like to leave the assisted living center because she has problems with incontinence, but they do offer activities outside in the community that she would take advantage of if she could.They can't do enough to please.



I wonder why this place is so much better than the others? I have given this great thought and I believe it is because the place is a not for profit and the people that work there are mission driven and the work place culture is so much better! I would recommend Fenno House to people and I am sure you will agree with me after your parent has been there.
