TO AVOID AT ALL COST!

Dan Taylor came to install a pullout garbage 4 weeks ago and this is the worst job I ever saw. My cabinet door is not even leveled anymore. I also can't use the pullout garbage he installed because he built it too high inside the cabinet, making it impossible to put a garbage bag in the bins without tearing it apart and I can't take the back bin out being too high and too tight to pull it out. He charged us for 3 visits when he only came twice (stating he got lost the first time and didn't have his phone to get directions). Since then (4 weeks), I had to call a ridiculous amount of times for him to even bother answering his phone. When he answered, he literally said "so you want me to come fix your pullout garbage for free?'' When I finally managed to set a day to come fix his job, he didn't show (twice).
We all have bad days but not willing to fix his error is a different story. At this point, I'm not even sure I want him to fix his work, I just want my money back but I'm sure I can sit on that too. This person is simply a dishonest man.

BE AWARE

Long story mad short.

Added a 4 drawer cabinet to the kitchen, to extend counter top. All the drawers were installed crooked.

Can’t open the drawers. No space between the drawers. No handles, (to mach existing cabinets.)

Had to cute ½” off the bottom of the cabinet to be level with the existing cabinets.

Had a new cabinet mad for the master bathroom, with 4 drawers. Sam thing drawers so close together

Can’t open the drawers. One end of the cabinet fitted against the wall. Other end 8” from the bathtub. (Open to see)

Did not stain this end of cabinet at all. This gave the cabinet a unfinished look.

Hade 2 drawers added to the cabinet in the front bathroom. Cabinet had 2 covers over where drawers

can be installed. When the old counter top was removed, I saw that both drawers were very poly installed. One of them actually fell off the track. I got lots of excuses.

There are more problems, But you get the idea.

He did a fabulous set of pine built in bookcase units for my LR. Great work and they look beautiful! Had him back to fabricate a FP mantle for same LR. Highly recommend this company.

If you are looking for someone to make or repair furniture, this is the place! Had him repair a cabinet drawer in the spring. He did a great job, and was reasonable. Now I am having him duplicate a nightstand for my bedroom.
