Watch out for this guy, he has a personallity disorder. I went to see what he had for gold or silver and when
I asked him what he had, he said he had nothing for sale and was out and everybody was was out.
Then went to sit down, so I asked about all the coins and then he came out of his seat in the back
looking very angry and said the price was to high. I thought that was a strange thing to say.
So I said you must not be interested in selling any coins?
He told me, just to go somewhere else if you don't like it. Hey you don't have to tell me twice.
How this guy stay's in business is beyond me.

Surely you will want to pass the place by if you don't know much about coins.

I asked a question about a rare old coin I wanted to buy and I was told "You obviously know nothing about NGC, please do your research before sending retarded questions or comments, it is a waste of time." Gee wizzers, I thought I was dealing with professionals. I'd give NO stars but the system won't accept NO stars.

I have done business with this company for about 7 or 8 years and have always been treated very respectfully, and have received the

best prices available in our area.

Previous poor ratings are probably due to chronic whiners or more likely disgruntled competitors.

I suggest giving South Hill Rare Coins a fair shot. I think you will be pleased. Get a couple of quotes before you go, and see if you don't receive much more from them for your items

when you see a bunch of bad reviews and one or two good ones, you know the good ones are written BY THE STORE OWNER. Don't be fooled

RUDE and HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO!!

What a rude business owner. I have never encountered a person who runs a business and acts like a customer is a waste of their time. Like someone else wrote, I don't know how this person stays in business. I recommend avoiding this business.

This guy is the worst. AVOID, AVOID and AVOID. Scum and rude rolled into one. Offered to purchase three coins and told I was a bottom feeder, and my insults of offeres were a waste of his time. Other dealers would love to have offers at 90% of red book values. How he is still in business is beyond me!!!

I went to this place recently, what a neat store. Large selection of nice coins. Not a hole in the wall like some of these other coin shops/gold buyers I have been too. My friend and I originally went there to check out what our coins were worth, they gave me an offer but I told them I wanted to check around. Two days later I sold to them, they were by far the highest offer I received and I felt that a couple of other places I went to were not being honest about what I had. Luckily I knew something about what I had. If you don't know what you have I truly believe you can trust this shop. Very honest and upfront about my coins.

I found this place a month or so ago, and they are terrific. I've been buying gold and silver and found their customer service extremely helpful.

It helps to have a couple badges in your back pocket. Once a badge always a badge. Make sure you are not in the alleyway. My Friend and I were from another business and they decidided to run my friend over. Because he was picketing the shop. Ask them what happened Feb of 2011.

I have been going to this shop for the selling of gold coins for three times now. He has always given the best price and is knowledgable. I do all my transactions with this shop now.
