Lighting Medical Transport

I have never been so disappointed a business. I do understand that they have quite the task, trying to figure out rides for people who have none. But, they need to admit they suck at it. I consider myself very lucky to have a vehicle. Thankfully, I have only needed lightning service a few times. Unfortunately, EVERY SINGLE TIME IS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!! I have been not picked up at all (more than once), left at locations (hours after closing in winter storm), forced to ride in the winter with a severe exhaust leak into the van, forced to ride in the summer (95-degree day) with no air conditioning & no windows that open. Thier vehicles are constantly breaking down & falling apart. Each time I ride with them I have to plan at least 10 hours for a 1 or 2-hour appointment. It is ridiculous! Someone needs to stick up for the people who do not have a choice & have to ride with them. They are supposed to offer options, BUT every time I ask for "anyone but Lightning Medical" they say I have to use Lightning! I rode with a guy who lost his job today because of being late. There are others who miss appointments, court, etc. It is not fair. Meanwhile, the owner drives a gorgeous car & lives a life of luxury (on the taxpayer's dime). Someone needs to do or say something. These people are afraid because if they complain, maybe they won't get picked up next time... Very Unfortunate!!
