Deer Creek Motel

I like the country setting [the motel is built on the site of a previous farm] and the rooms on the back side have a large window looking out onto a field and you can see lots of birds and deer. I like that the guys can go fishing or hunting and us girls can go shopping and sight seeing and then come back to a peaceful retreat at night. I also like that it's family owned and run so you know they care about the place and the guests.

This motel has a very pleasant staff, so many people come back year in and year out because they offer competative rates and a quiet country setting. It is a motel, not the Taj Mahal so just realize that before you book. Their site shows pics. They are also one of the few in the area who offer fishing and hunting guide services. We fished in the morning with our guide and then went on a pheasant hunt in the afternoon. Family loved it...great experience.
