Knowledge is power! Read on! Salespeople will repeat plenty of misinformation about diamonds. We hope to clear up a lot of that. The rules and information herein apply whether you're shopping with a "friend" who says he or she can get you a diamond "wholesale" or comparing retailers in and out of town. Either way, you can't compare based on quotes alone. You will have to do a little homework and ask some questions. A good jeweler will appreciate your questions and give clear answers. I usually bring my wedding ring in every six months be cleaned and polished and have the setting inspected to be sure my diamond is secure. At my last six month visit I noticed that my channel setting had worn down after 9 years of daily wear and needed to be rebuilt to properly hold my diamond. Later, when I picked up my ring I was overjoyed to discover it looked even better than when first bought it. The Goldsmith did an exceptional job! I have always loved the service and quality provided by Wilson Diamonds and will continue to recommended them to friends and family.They provide high quality jewelry and service at exceptional value and price.

We got a great deal on the diamond, a beautiful custom band, and excellent customer service. Shane Corrigan attended us and was very nice, honest, and helpful. After looking at several other places, we can confidently say that he gave us the best deal and was by far the most courteous in helping us out. We got a custom ring for a decent price and they were very careful to make sure that we got the design we wanted by sending us iterations of cad designs until we approved of the final design. When we received the actual band, it was exactly as pictured in the images they sent us. Additionally we had a short time constraint of less than two weeks that they were able to meet, and they gave us a beautiful temporary ring while we were waiting for the actual to be made.



The diamond we got was exactly what we hoped for, and we got it for a great price. Shane was careful to take us through all the different types of diamonds and the aspects that make some diamonds much more expensive than others. He also educated us about enhanced vs. non-enhanced. It is true that some diamonds are enhanced, but if you are concerned about this you just need to ask for one that is not. The one we ended up with is gorgeous and completely natural.

I've had nothing but terrible experiences with Wilson Diamonds, which is really sad to me because I thought they were going to be great and they had really good reviews. While my ring is beautiful and my fiance did an incredible job picking it out, they have TERRIBLE service. I looked close at the ring the night my fiance proposed and it had two really big scratches in the gold. What kind of goldsmith doesn't check to make sure they don't scratch up the ring before they give it to someone who just paid well over $1000 for it? He proposed on a Saturday and we figured this out Saturday night so I took it in first thing Monday to have them fix it. They said they would have it to me by Thursday. I called Thursday around noon and they told me it would for sure be done between 4-6 and they would call me as soon as it was. I got SO excited to actually get my ring back because I only got to wear it one day. So I sat around and waited and when they finally called me at 6:30 it was only to tell me that all of a sudden (after having my ring for 4 days already) they realized some of my diamonds were loose so they were going to need to keep it til Monday because the goldsmith wouldn't be back until then. WHATTTTT??? Do you know how awkward it is to tell people you're engaged and not have the ring? Its like somebody giving you the best Christmas present ever and then taking it back the next day and keeping it until after New Years. I was really frustrated.



Well here I am, three months later, and I need to get my ring re-plated before I get married next week. So I call last week to see what I need to do because HEAVEN KNOWS its going to take them forever again. I tell the receptionist, Andi, that I'm willing to bring it in right then. I tell her about the frustrations from the past and how I'm nervous to even take it back because I don't know how long they'll keep it. Or what if when I get it back it's all scratched again? She assures me that I can wait until Thursday and she'll secure a spot for me so I can drop it off Thursday and get it back Friday. Well, I call today (Thursday) to make sure that's still the plan and see when the best time to bring it would be, and this receptionist informs me that the Goldsmith decided to take the day off. Did anybody inform me? Nope. Sure didn't. Now he won't be back until Monday. MONDAY! Which is REALLY COOL because I am leaving Tuesday morning for California to get married. So now they're telling me to take it in Saturday and I'll get it back Monday. Do you think that's really going to happen? I'm taking bets. My guess is no. I'm just so incredibly frustrated with them. I feel like they are unorganized. After they've made a sale and received your money they don't care about you anymore. Why did my fiance even bother getting the care plan with it? They don't CARE! I think that's maybe what the care plan is. You pay extra so they won't care about you or your ring. They're not apologetic at all about the situation and just don't care. Go to someone else.

I took my wife here to get our diamond. I will admit I was a little nervous about buying a ring but these guys were great. They answered all of our questions and I never once felt pressured to buy from them. They even told me to go to other places to check their prices.

Go there! I can't say enough how impressed I was with Shane at Wilson Diamonds. I needed to have my ring re-sized and cleaned a few months ago and ended up taking my ring to Wilson's even though I didn't originally purchase it there. Unfortunately for me, the store I had purchased it from went out of business so I needed to find a new jeweler.



Everyone at Wilson's was terrific and helped me out extremely fast - they even had my ring done by the next day (which I needed because I was leaving town), and didn't charge any kind of rush service or anything. Overall, the price was great and the service was even better.

Go here for your engagement ring! I can't say how impressed I was with everyone I met at Wilson Diamonds. I shopped around for about 1 month and I think I went into every single jewelry store in Provo. Wilsons was by far the best, their selection was larger then anyone else's.



However, the part that really hooked me was the education they gave me. The spent about 45 minutes just educating me on how to select a great diamond, and didn't pressure me at all through the entire process.



I would recommend Wilson Diamonds to anyone.

Manipulative, deceitful, and a bully

Richard Wilson charged my credit card without my knowledge or permission or agreement over a refund. I eventually got all my money back (after an entire summer of strife). But what still bothers me is the lies he has stated on companyrank.com about me and a supposed "no-return" order form I signed. Companyrank.com seems like a scam - a project put together by Wilson Diamonds to allow Richard to say whatever he wants and then portray it as a neutral customer review website. He has been able to edit his post about me, but the site has deleted my response to his lies, and turned a deaf ear to my complaints. It's no surprise that Wilson Diamonds is the only website to happily advertise a link to companyrank.com. It scares me that potential customers are guided there for "honest opinions". I'm happy to find any other place on the web that allows me to post the truth.

Wilson's employees were the most helpful and friendly than any other jewelery store we went to for my engagement ring. The price was reasonable and they had a variety of settings and stones you could mix and match. They were also willing to set the diamond however you wanted (lower, higher, turned, etc).
