PC Provo

Apparently you either love or hate PC Provo. There are tons of reviews about how cheap it was but let me share my experience so you can see both sides. My hp pavilion was acting up for a few days. Freezing, not cooperating in general and it was frustrating me so I took it in to PC Provo first thing Tuesday morning. When I walked in the Secretary told me the computer that people check in on had not been working for some time. A bad sign for a computer store. She asked me what my computer was doing and I told her. Then she asked me what I wanted then to do with it. I thought the answer was obvious. Fix it. She took my computer and told me I would get a call with an estimate and what was wrong later that day. I got no such call so I called and asked for an update. My computer had been sitting in the store all day but the hard drive was the suspect. On Wednesday (I think) I got the official diagnosis that the hard drive failed and would need to be replaced. I said I managed to backup all is my personal stuff so there was no need to recover anything. Just put in the new hard drive. I was told they had to order one so my computer wouldn't be ready until Monday. No call on Monday so I call Tuesday morning. I was told that it would be done that night or Wednesday morning. Call Tuesday night and ask for a specific time to come get my computer. The owner, Paul, told me it would be done at 11:30. I came in at 11:30 to pick up my computer. Paul was not there abs the secretary told me the server that she would normally use to find computer had been down for 2 weeks (another bad sign)! I told her what Paul told me and she said the best she could do was leave him an angry note and I would have to come back later because she couldn't even find my computer. So here I am waiting for who knows how much longer for my work computer that has been there for over a week. I figured I might as well write a review on my phone while I wait because there's nothing much else I can do without my computer.

PC Provo is affordable and has great service! The people who work there are friendly and willing to help us problem. They also give advice to help prevent problems in the future. I'd recommend them for any computer issue.

Quick and Excellent! My desktop was full of viruses and slow and PC Provo solved all those problems quickly! Very friendly and personable technicians. Great local business! I ll definitely use them again if needed!
