Kelly is an amazing lawyer! I was referred to her. I had already applied to SSI like 3 times. I was starting to lose hope but, I put all my faith into her. I was lucky to find Kelly at a time when I nearly gave up hope of pursuing my SSDI further. I had done the first 2 rounds of the application process myself but knew I needed representation if I had any chance of being successful at the hearing. I knew that my complicated and unusual medical history was a lot of information to be presented and understood. I had gone to a large law firm who refused to take my case, as I guess I didn't fit their profile or my case looked like too much work.

I'm a US Air Force disabled veteran and I cannot say how grateful I am to Kelly McKenna for not only representing me with my social security claim but the professionalism and experience I received from her firm. I visited Kelly initially to sign releases giving her authority to obtain whatever she needed to build and present my case to Social Security. I have been disabled since 2010 went as far as a judge got denied. Was referred to a different attorney went again as far as another judge ended up getting denied. I have known Ms. Cournoyer since 1994 when she represented a former client of mine. Being in the field of Human Services, I have seen many lawyers who request others to do a lot of the work for them. I became disabled in February, 2014 and did attempt to apply twice myself with no success. Ms. Cournoyer took my case and I was awarded SSDI in June , 2015, The only work I had to do was signed releases. She did such a good job that the hearing officer read the evidence and granted me SSDI without a hearing. I would recommend her to anyone who is appealing for Social Security benefits.

I contacted Kelly a couple of years after my initial application was denied. I started to appeal and then withdrew the appeal.
