Crossroads RI, formerly known as Travelers Aid of Rhode Island, is one of the largest organizations that provides services to homeless people in Rhode Island. The organization provides 24-hour assistance and serves the immediate and long-term needs of individuals. It offers crisis intervention and housing services. The organization provides adult literacy and math instruction and job search, employment and job retention assistance services. It also offers food, shelter and respite care services to individuals. Crossroads Rhode Island s Graphic Communications Training Program includes classes in computer graphics and production technology, consumer and retail services training. The organization provides 57-unit apartments that offer a range of on-site services, such as intensive case management and parenting, nutrition and budgeting skills development.
