We provide counseling services to teens and adults for mental health and addiction concerns. Our geographic service area is 30 miles around Princeton, MN 55371. We offer traditional face-to-face therapy sessions in our Princeton office as well as online through a video tele-counseling portal on our website. We offer assessment and treatment for the following issues: - Addiction - Anxiety - Bullying - Communication - Depression - Emotional Regulation - Grief and Loss - Self-Care- Self-Esteem and Self-Efficacy - Anger Management - Coping Skills - Emotional Disturbance - Family Conflict - Life Transitions - Parenting - Relationship Issues - Stress - Impulse Control Disorders - Mood Disorders - Thinking Disorders Treatment Orientation: - 12 Step Facilitation - Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) - Dialectical (DBT) - Family / Marital - Person-Centered - Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) - Solution Focused Brief (SFBT) History: Established in 2016. Kelsey is uniquely qualified to provide counseling services that address both chemical dependency and mental health issues. She has completed two Master degree programs and is dually licensed. She holds her LADC (License Alcohol and Drug Counselor) as well as a LPC (License Professional Counselor). After 7 years of school and internships, and almost 10 years of professional experience working for others in residential and outpatient settings, Kelsey opened her own private practice providing individual and family counseling. Kelsey comes with years of experience working in residential and outpatient settings at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation where she specialized in working with adolescents, young adults and families. Kelsey furthered her professional development when working in an outpatient setting at Fairview Recovery Services where she specialized in working with adults with co-occurring disorders. Meet the Business Owner: Kelsey Anderson, MA, LADC, LPC is the founder of Better Mental Health. She specializes in working with teens and young adults to help them address; self-esteem, self-efficacy, addiction, relationship conflicts, and emotional regulation difficulties. She also has experience in working with adults to help them address; addiction, relationship building, increasing communication skills, chemical use and behavioral concerns with their children, as well as helping them find balance in their own lives. She works with families to address any conflictual family dynamics.
