ABSOLUTELY APPALLED BY YOUR AWFUL BUSINESS! I bought tickets through my company for half off and apparently in the tiny fine print of the tickets they expired in June although the website said they were good through January. Only solution offered was $6 off original price even though I already paid $16.50 for each ticket. My brother recently died and we were trying to take his son out for a fun family day. The "manager" of the hr could not provide a corporate number so I figured this will get out better anyway. She stated there was no direct line to the corporate office which is a crock because every company has one they just didn't want to give it out. I know how the process works. Never again will I visit this awful greedy company. Oh and by the way, we could have gotten tickets for $13 through my mom's company but it's almost an hour and a half away. Thanks for ruining our day.

The zoo is a nice way to see and learn about exotic and wild animals. unless you plan to go to an african safari, This is it! nice and spacious, clean and nursing stations. also aquarium is beautiful! Being a member really is a plus because you can go to all special events like wild lights etc, and free parking. you know whats going on ahead because members get books. to the one dissappointed review I would say don't let some bad rep ruin the whole experience. Call ahead ask questions. Should have spoken to guest services or relations about your confusion. I'm sure they would have made it right. Good luck next time. Also you can rent motorized wheels for the one that has trouble walking. Also if some workers were not as informational as you like ask another. Some probably were young volunteers.

I went to the zoo with my friends family and my friends sister has a prosthesis leg. She is unable to swim so we didn't buy a ticket for her. Didn't think we needed to, but when we got to the gate the young man woulndn't let her in, but he did tell us if she was in a wheelchair her and the person pushing her would be let in for 'FREE"" how is that that fair??? Very confussed and very, very unhappy and I don't know if I will return in the future because how my friends sister was treated.
This site not only showed me the listing that I was looking for, but also gave me other information that I never expected to find such as other users reviews, and information on the services offered. This site also allowed a link to go straight to the website. Very impressed! thank you!

I grew up in Columbus in the 70's and 80's and saw Jack Hanna take the zoo from small and old to the great place it is today. We go back at least once a year to visit the zoo and my kids love it!!! It is hard to see it all in a day and be ready to walk a lot. The animals are in wonderful habitats and every year the exhibits get better. It is also a reasonable day for a family. You can pack a picnic and save on food. There are great places to sit and enjoy a picnic and relax. It is a great place to go anytime of the year and even on crowded days there is plenty of room to move around. The volunteers that are at the exhibits are a great resource and always have fun bits of information and are more than willing to answer questions. There are a lot of field trips in April and May, so it can get crowded with large groups.
