Thank you to the best auto customer service,I purchased a very low price car and they gave me outstanding customer service and were very helpful in my decision ,they were respectful of my concerns and never were pushy,other dealership should learn from them.

Well it looks like John Kennedy Ford of Pottstown is going to get yet another NEGATIVE review!! You would think at some point that someone at that dealership would be concerned and willing to make some NECESSARY changes but instead they continue to dish out sub-par service. Their salesmen are arrogant and rude and refuse to negotiate price especially on used cars even after they misquote you by almost $2000. Yes, they told me one price over the phone then told me another price that was $1800 more after I drove the car and told them I was interested. I am a customer who has bought two vehicles from them prior to this LAST one. You would expect to be treated with courtesy and respect being a repeat customer but that just isn't how they roll. They do not care about their customers. They also did not shake our hands or thank us for our business when picking up the car nor did they walk us out to the car. Just took the money and said, "the car is outside". Are you kidding me???? Buyers BEWARE. Both Toyota and Honda of Limerick gave us much better treatment and more importantly, RESPECT. Save yourself the hassle and headache and go somewhere else, anywhere else. I would have given zero stars if that was an option.

I had a very poor experience with their sales agent and don't think they teach their sales people on how to treat customers and negotiate with them.Their sales guy Rick was rude and uncouth and you don't want to deal with someone like this guy. I liked one of their cars and was just beginning negotiations when this sales guy had the nerve to tell me that I should not have walked into their dealership offering $$ less. He did not check with me that I was talking out of pocket based on my trade in. When I asked he was willing to negotiate he said I should walk out. There is not way these guys are earning my business ever again.Beware and be warned!

DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM JOHN KENNEDY AUTO GROUP! They have the worst warranty in the business and will not correct problems when you have them.



I bought a 2006 Toyota 4Runner from John Kennedy Ford Pottstown on May 22, 2013. On September 01, 2013 the transmission died after only driving 2,016 miles since the purchase. I called John Kennedy and they told me I am 2 weeks after the 3 month/ 4000 mile warranty and therefore they aren't obligated to do anything.



I took the car to a reputable transmission shop at a cost of $4268. They told me that the transmission was 2 quarts low in fluid and there was no sign of internal or external leakage. I wrote to Michael & Kurt Kennedy, the owners, and requested that they honor the warranty and reimburse me half (i.e. $2134 since it was a 50/50 warranty) because the defect was present during the warranty period. About a month later I received a very legalistic letter from a manager at John Kennedy addressed "To whom it may concern" stating that "we must deferentially decline".



Do yourself a favor and go to a dealer that will treat you well and not in a legalistic manner. There are better places to buy with better warranties and service. For instance, Carsense has a 6 month/ 6000 mile warranty and it covers 100%.



You know what they say...LET THE BUYER BEWARE OF JOHN KENNEDY AUTO GROUP.

My family has bought several cars from John Kennedy Ford Lincoln-Mercury in Pottstown PA. Most of the vehicles were new Fords. They ran great and had no problems. The last purchase I made was in late 2009, downsizing to a used Mazda 6. As soon as I pulled off the lot I had problems. Every other week the car was in the shop because it kept drifting to the right. The techs couldn't find the problem, let alone fix it. So after months of that, I gave up, drove the car how it was. So a year has pasted, inspection is due. It fails inspection for several things. One thing that stands out, is two tires that have different speed ratings. I never changed the tires in that year. How does a car pass inspection one year, and the next fail? I think JKFLM is fudging thier used vehicle inventory just to sell them. BEWARE of anything you buy from them. Please take my advice.
