I found this clinic to be very caring

I found this clinic to be very caring and professional as well. Jaime went over every thing with me a was great with my dog. I appreciate finding such great care close to home.

I'm going to have to agree with

I'm going to have to agree with Oregon98. I have spent close to $1000 at this vet and they still don't know what is wrong with my cat. I always have a different vet, they are always rushed and everything just seems to be about milking me for money. They really don't seem to care about me or my pet, and they made a diagnosis of one thing but said I just had to get a $300 test to confirm and it turns out - that wasn't ... view more

Unfriendly and Incompetent

I have been using Woodstock VCA for my 3 dogs for several years due to their proximity to my home, but rarely have I had a pleasant experience. They are overpriced, their veterinarians are not terribly friendly nor are they concerned with the fact that, while I love my creatures, I am not going to spend money on unnecessary treatments. They often seem put out at starting small on testing and treatments and working ... view more

Poor experience

Woke up this morning and found my cat in distress. He was in labored breathing and drooling. I thought I was going to loose him. So I took him to the nearest Vet. to me which happened to be Woodstock VCA. Only to find out that they open at 7:00 AM but the vet does not come in untill 8:00 and they do not keep animals over night. So I was advised by the receptionist that I could wait for the Vet. or take my cat some w... view more

Caring and Professional

I took my dog to Woodstock from 2001 until yesterday and was always impressed with the care they provided. Woodstock has been through a number of changes over the years, and we stuck with them. Despite those changes my dog was always welcomed as family and well cared for. Any business can try and sell extras, and it's the role of the consumer to decide what's best for them. Do research and establish your own informed... view more

Nice, caring staff, homey atmosphere

I don't get why these other reviews are so negative. I recently moved to the Woodstock neighborhood in Portland, OR from L.A., where I was a regular client at a VCA there. So I decided to give the local VCA hospital here a try. They were wonderful! The second I walked in, this place seemed so nice. In fact, my dog even liked it (and she hates everything to do with vets). They greeted me and my dog, gave her treats an... view more

Decent experience.

I don't really have any complaints about the Woodstock VCA - I went in there this past weekend with a free exam coupon, but I was charged $4.99 for a ""biohazard"" waste deal. The receptionist didn't charge me because I had a free exam coupon and it wouldn't be fair if I had to pay after thinking it would be free. They were very friendly to my dog, made him feel comfortable, and didn't push any products on me or tell... view more

They are not people or animal friendly they just money

They made me wait a hour before seeing me and my pets and after that they made me wait another hour in the examination room. I brought $300 and a coupon for a free first time visit and they treated me as if I was some scum of the earth charity case. After paying $300 dollars for my cat and dog's yearly shots. They informed me that it would not cover the license fee and they where going to have report me to the poun... view more

Poor care and overcharged for it

My dog had an exam here when we first moved to Portland last fall (even with a coupon it was very expensive). In the spring I noticed the teeth in the back of her mouth looked awful, and took her back. They charged $700 for cleaning her teeth and extracting 3, one big and two small. I felt strongly that they had missed examining her teeth when she was first seen, and expressed my feeling that they should take re... view more

So So friendly

I have been going to woodstock for over 4 yrs now and have had no issues with them what so ever! The staff is wonderful and always make a point to go out of their way to greet my animals especially my Doberman Casper, which I am beginning to think he is their favorite lol! In fact today I dropped him off for a surgery to remove a mass from is tummy area. When I dropped him off they more then listened to my concerns a... view more
