Portland Metro Rocks

We have been extremely happy at Portland Metro the last six years. My daughter takes ballet and jazz classes there. She has grown not only as a dancer, but has gained confidence in all areas of her life. The teachers are encouraging and knowledgeable. The classes center on learning dance, and any special performance numbers are practiced during specific rehearsal times, not during class time. The annual ballet is a lot of hard work, but I like that there are people of all ages who are involved with everything from costuming to lighting. My daughter started classes elsewhere, but I'm glad I made the call to Metro. We have not regretted our decision, and I would encourage anyone who is interested in joining a community of dedicated dancers to give Metro a try.

Nothing called "Customer Service"

Getting a response or getting information from anyone here is like pulling teeth. I called for additional information about class, pricing, and schedule. The gal I spoke with was able to give me pricing information but cannot give me any info about class schedules. I was advised I will get a call or an e-mail. I waited 3 days and got no call or e-mail. I called back and even sent an e-mail. I finally get an e-mail response stating the person was "ill". At first I was forgiving then I was told once she has her schedule available she'll let me know what slots she has available. A few days later I get an e-mail from someone else with a very small selection of class schedule. I e-mailed back asking if there was weekend sessions available. For a week, NO ONE absolutely NO ONE responded to me. My e-mail went to 3 different e-mail address and no one had the courtesy to e-mail me. Lack of response shows poor customer service. I'm glad I did not invest my money into this.
