Wrongful Termination

Employment Discrimination

Employment Contract
Severance Agreement
Richard represented a client in front of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Richard’s client was a Federal employee who was a victim of age and national origin discrimination. The EEOC judge awarded the employee damages for emotional pain and suffering, and also ordered the Government to pay the client’s attorney fees. Later, the same agency tried to fire the employee. Richard was able to negotiate a severance package and a cash payment equal to about 3 years of salary.
Sexual Harassment
Richard’s client sued the USPS in Federal court after being sexually harassed by another employee. The Federal District Court jury awarded Richard’s client $142,000 in damages. The Postal Service was ordered to protect Richard’s client from further harassment, and to pay Richard’s attorney fees.

Personal Injury
