InAct is an outpatient program for patients suffering from substance abuse, gambling addiction and mental illnesses. It serves individuals above the age of 18 , as well as offers services in English and Spanish. The center provides diagnostic, psychiatric assessment, psychological evaluation, medication administration, random urinalysis, case management, crisis intervention and consulting services. It additionally offers group and individual counseling solutions in cases related to alcohol and drug additions. The center also provides patient referral services for housing and employment opportunities. It is a program of Volunteers of America of Oregon, which was established in 1896 and is a nonprofit organization that offers various educational and health care programs throughout Oregon. InAct is located in Portland, Ore.
